- After replacing the valve cover and the vacuum pump test drove to find the bearings in the rear end very noise. Removed the rear differential cover to find excessive amount of metallic debris in fluid e in the oil. Replaced rear pinion bearings, carrier bearings and rear axle bearings clean axle housing replace crush sleeve, axle seals, and rear diff cover seal fill with new gear oil road test reinspect OK at this time
- Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection.
- Tested and inspected to find oil leak at the valve cover passenger side and the vacuum pump passenger side. Replaced the valve cover gasket and repaired the cracked valve cover due to in ability to replace the part bis on national back order from Ford. Guest is aware of the repair. and to be monitored. Also replaced the passenger side vacuum pump to correct oil leaks.
