  • Tech removed failed starter and replaced with new starter and tested all operations working as designed at this time.

  • Lift vehicle found rear main seal leaking, Guest States needing to add 4 qts of oil most likely oil control rings failed causing excessive oil consumption. pull fault codes found p0014,p0017 related to camshaft timing faults recommend removing valve cover for further inspection did find camshaft vvt control solenoids a bit high on resistance need to confirm solenoids are only at fault by checking also found p0133 related to 02 sensor mechanical timing with valve cover removed guest declined further diagnostics at this time
