Services Performed
- Pulled fault code Po300 found active misfires on cylinder 1. Need to remove intake to further diag the fault. Removed intake to gain access to cylinder spark plug 1 on the back side of motor. Pulled cylinder 1 spark plug out and found to be fouled. Recommend replacing all 6 spark plugs to start with and move ignition coil pack from cylinder 1 to cylinder 6 to see if misfire follows.
- Removed and replaced spark plugs to correct. Road tested with scan tool and found no misfires detected. Ok at this time.
- Removed and replaced water pump to correct.
- Removed engine radiator hose from vehicle, exchange new extended life engine coolant through engine cooling system using power exchange machine. Reinsstall radiator hose start and ran engine until thermostat opened and allowed circulation set coolant level to proper level. Road test vehicle after service
- Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection.
