On road test for brake inspection, when radiator fan kicked on, heard guest complaint with a ticking noise. During inspection running car in th shop with fan on, found fan hitting fan shroud causing noise guest is hearing. Recommend replacing fan shroud assembly to correct.
Road tested, felt brakes making kind of soft grinding noise when braking. Pulled in on the hoist, pulled wheels for inspection. Found LF inside rotor heavily scored and grooving, pads 1-2MM. Rear pads at 3MM down to service limits. Recommend replacing both front and rear pads, rotors to correct.
Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection.

Rotated Tires
Hooked up scan tool, put into service mode to gain access to rear calipers. Removed and replaced both front and rear pads, rotors to correct. Sandblasted caliper brackets, cleaned caliper slides and pins. Lubricated caliper slides and pins. Road tested burnish pads to rotors Ok at this time.
Removed and replace positive crankcase assembly due to leaking oil at the seal.

Check oil level found oil level within spec, lift on hoist found oil leaking at rear of engine, remove inspection plug in transmission, found rear main seal housing leaking oil, recommend replacing rear main seal housing
Remove all related components to gain access to transmission bell housing bolts, remove failed transmission from vehicle, remove thermostat block from transmission lines, flush transmission oil cooler both directions, replace thermostat block, install replacement transmission reinsstall transfer case , refill transfer case with new oil, reinsstall drive shaft, reinsstall exhaust cats using new fasteners, clamp and gaskets, set fluid level using scan tool road test after replacement transmission now shifts as desired at this time
Download and program software to replacement transmission all fault codes cleared at this time
During transmission replacement, remove flex plate, remove failed rear main seal housing, replace rear main seal housing torque fasteners to spec, reinsstall flex plate with new fasteners torque to spec road test reinspect for oil leaks OK at this time
perform alignment after suspension repair
Remove and replace both lower control arms along with right upper control arm, road test after alignment OK at this time

Scanned the system and found codes for the coolant temp also have codes for the glow plug control circuit and also for the Ac pressure sensor circuit. Test drove and monitored the system to find engine would not come up to operating temperature. Tested and found no response from the thermostats and suspect stuck in the open position. Advise replace the thermostats and start there
Replaced both thermostats on the system to correct the engine temp concern. Test drove and found the system running at proper operating temperature as designed at this time. Advise flushing cooling system due to opening up the cooling system and the condition of coolant due to age and mileage. Cleared all fault codes and tested with no issues at this time and no codes returning. Guest to monitor for he other codes to return
Removed engine radiator hose from vehicle, exchange new extended life engine coolant through engine cooling system using power exchange machine. Reinsstall radiator hose start and ran engine until thermostat opened and allowed circulation set coolant level to proper level. Road test vehicle after service

Inspected and found rear main seal leaking oil. Road tested Truck duplicated guest concern. Feeling shutter during shifting points. Pulled fluid sample found metal debris in fluid sample. Need to pull transmission pan to verify how much debris in filter and transmission.
Recommend replacing rear pads and rotors to correct. Recommend replacing rear shocks. Recommend replacing lower ball joints. Recommend new tires.
Tested powers and grounds Ok at this time. Found failing ajar switch. Pulled fault code found B316B driver side window switch. B316B Driver Window switch short to ground. Need to verify wiring in door hinge area and verify powers and grounds.
