Removed the lower under dash panel to access the motor and the resistor to inspect to find the connection from the blower motor burnt and melting due to high resistance from the blower assembly. Replaced the pigtail connector with new and replace the blower motor assembly to correct

  • Guest states check over front suspension, clunk over bumps and feels loose going down the road please check and advise
  • Tech found right front lower control arm rearward bushing to have movement and recommend replacement of control arm to correct.
  • Tech found right front sway bar link to have movement which can cause clunk noise on vehicle. Recommend replacement of both front sway bar links to correct. Save on labor due to having to remove on right front sway link for control arm.
  • Tech found both rear sway bar links to have play which will cause clunk noise. Recommend replacement of both rear sway bar links to correct.
  • Performed four wheel alignment: set camber, caster and toe on vehicle to manufacturer specs, calibrate steering angle sensor as needed.

  • Tech scanned system found no codes in system for transmission, tech monitored system using scan tool to find transmission line pressure to be at 15.9 psi spec is 98 psi. Tech checked transmission fluid level and level is good Tech went to move vehicle and got large clunk and whine noise coming from transmission and then all gears were lost. Recommend replacement of transmission to correct.
  • Remove lower sub frame from vehicle , remove all related components to gain access to transmission mounts and bell housing bolts, drain transmission oil from failed unit replace transmission oil cooler, clean out transmission oil cooler lines, reinsstall reman transmission to vehicle, reinsstall all previously removed components to vehicle, start and run engine after reman transmission programming, set fluid level to proper level using IDS scan tool road test transmission shifts as designed at this time with no fault codes lift and inspect no visible transmission oil leaks Sean at this time
  • Labor discount for programming reman transmission to vehicle
  • Program and update ECm to latest soft ware level
  • Align vehicle after transmission replacement reset steering wheel angle sensor
  • replace clock spring with used clock spring due to air bag light on after repair, steering wheel was overturned during transmission install when centering wheel
